The company

Our factory and head office are situated in Mariannelund – in the heart of thefairytale world created by the writer Astrid Lindgren for Pippi Longstocking – with neighbouring villages such as Lönneberga and Bullerbyn. It was also here that the company was set up in 1982 with a handful of staff – there are now over 150 employees. About 20 percent of our €25 million turnover derives from exports, mainly to the UK.

Mariannelund is located at essentially the same distance to the Swedish metropolitan regions with a 3-hour travel time from Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö by car, bus or train. We have all manufacturing, product development, sales, showroom etc. gathered in one place. This provides many advantages and short decision-making paths. Many subcontractors are in the vicinity which also provides advantages including short transport routes.

LEIAB is part of K-Svets Förvaltnings Aktiebolag and is a sister company with, among others, H-Windows. The cooperation within the group gives us strength and expertise in construction technology. LEIAB focuses on inward-opening windows and H-Windows focuses on outward-opening windows. Both companies have the same basic construction with aluminum on the outside and wood on the inside.

The factory building, which is currently 200 meters long and 50 meters wide and covers an area of ​​approximately 10,000 m², provides good conditions for a good production flow. No unnecessary transport between buildings and no intersecting material flows. Just one long and easily understandable process. Material in one end, finished windows out the other.

Another factory expansion is underway. During the second half of 2026, we plan to have approximately 13,000 m² of production space in order to increase capacity and manufacture even more windows than today.

For this project, located in an exclusive area in the heart of London, we had to deliver high quality products with excellent noise reduction, while also providing venting possibilities.

Several of the apartment units are located close to the hustle and bustle of the streets nearby and the windows are able to reduce the low frequency noise.

Another design feature which was delivered for a number of the windows are the integrally fitted louvres, which provide the HVAC ventilation requirements.

All products are custom made to your specifications, down to the last millimeter. This allows the fitting to be both faster and also much more convenient. The most exposed parts of the window, the frame and outer sash, are made out of strong aluminium fitted with weep holes.
